Are hadiths a legitimate source of guidance?
May God forgive me and guide me regarding anything that would have been misinterpreted in this study and elsewhere. May He always guide us to a better understanding of His profound scripture so we can purify ourselves and increase our knowledge.
As Muslims, we know that Islam is the final accomplishment of God's religion on earth and real Muslims never fear debates as God's truth always reveals itself and prevails. Sincere Muslims will not shy away from the collection of about 50 “sahih” (authentic) hadiths gathered in part 1, while I have no doubt that the others will not have the courage to read. Part 2 will explain why some beautiful hadiths are used as bait to lure people into following so called “sahih” (authentic) hadiths, and we will explain why they are false, as they always contradict the Quran. I defy anyone to prove this article wrong based on the Quran. We are warning the reader that a few disturbing images illustrate some of the sayings attributed to the prophet Muhammad, showing real images of Sunni Muslims enforcing those hadiths. The goal is to show exactly what so called “authentic” hadiths really imply. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”: Do not be passive and promote the truth by sharing this article with your friends and love ones.

(45:6) These are God’s verses which we recite unto you [O Muhammad] truthfully. Therefore, in which HADITH other than GOD and His verses do they believe in?
Are hadiths and Sunnah truly part of Islam or are they baseless traditions which cripple the message of peace described in the Holy Quran?
The term “hadith” refers to sayings attributed to the prophet Muhammad. The word “Sunnah” refers to religious traditions allegedly established by Muhammad, and authenticated through a consensus of his companions. Even though the Quran proclaims it is fully detailed and contains the details of everything (7:52, 6:114. 10:37), an overwhelming majority of Muslims inherited the traditional belief that they need hadiths and sunnah to understand, clarify or add more details to the Quran.
1. We are going to introduce the subject by witnessing about 50 hadiths surprisingly classified as “Sahih” (authentic), ranging from the most violent and despicable to the most absurd, and point at some indisputable contradictions among hadiths and between hadiths and the Quran.
2. We will explain why some apparently beautiful hadiths are used as a bait to lure people into following so called sahih hadiths, and we will prove why even seemingly beautiful hadiths are false.
3. Sunni and Shia scholars point at a number of Quranic verses to claim that the Book of God acknowledges Hadiths and Sunnah as a necessary part of the Islamic religion. We will prove that Sunni and Shia Islam have diverted their original meanings to impose traditions which disfigure Islam.
Unlike the Quran which was fully written down during Muhammad’s ministry, both Hadiths and Sunnah are traditions that were allegedly passed down for at least two hundred years before they were ever written down. A key Quranic verse will explain why early Muslims were terrified to write down anything else but the Quran.
4. The Quran provides extensive good and bad examples of human behavior (including messengers) upon which we are invited to meditate. The first Sunni and Shia Scholars had no choice but to face the fact that some of Muhammad’s mistakes are uncompromisingly depicted in the Quran. This is why traditional scholars invented the doctrine that messengers are infallible and that the only mistakes Muhammad (or other messengers) ever made in his life are only the ones mentioned in the Quran. We will easily shatter such a doctrine quoting a verse of the Quran.
5. We will then provide evidence that the only authentic and reliable Hadiths that Muslims are allowed to follow are the ones directly found in the last revelation citing one key Quranic Hadith where Muhammad proclaims that He and other Muslims must follow the Quran exclusively.
6. A number of Hadiths led to the creation of religious laws that violate and contradict the letter and spirit of the Holy Quran. Instead of acknowledging that such hadiths are false, proving that hadiths as a whole are not reliable and extremely dangerous when it comes to preserve the integrity and purity of Islam, Sunni and Shia Muslims chose to betray God and his revelations by giving precedence to Hadiths over the Quran, some even going as far as saying that some hadiths abrogate the Quran. We will provide as an example two most shocking laws derived from Hadiths proving that they contradict the Quran (stoning to death the adulterer and Female Genital Mutilation), which corroborates the fact that Hadiths and Sunnah inspired an evil religion that has nothing to do with Islam.
We need to alert the reader that we chose to show a few very graphic and disturbing pictures of people being stoned to death, or executed for apostasy and more. We justify this choice by the fact that Sunni and Shia Islam must be exposed exactly like they really are.
Sunni and Shia scholars claim that one who does not believe in Hadiths and Sunnah is a “kafeer” (infidel). This article will provide a most powerful answer to such people and the reader will judge by him or herself if one who rejects totally the Hadiths and the Sunnah is an infidel or a true believer who stands up to defend true Islam against the worst type of obscurantism. In fact, we will see in this study that following hadiths to the letter leads to nothing more than a profoundly corrupted form of religion and terrorist states such as the so called “Islamic state” also known as “Isis”.

1.1 Torture and unjust capital punishments
Muhammad and torture, is it recommended to drink urine?
Sahih al-Bukhari, volume 4, Book 52, Hadith 261
'Eight men of the tribe of 'Ukil came to the Prophet and then they found the climate of Medina unsuitable for them. So, they said, 'O Allah's Apostle! Provide us with some milk.' Allah's Apostle said, 'I recommend that you should join the herd of camels.' So they went and drank the urine and the milk of the camels till they became healthy and fat. Then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels, and they became unbelievers after they were Muslims. When the Prophet was informed by a shouter for help, he sent some men in their pursuit, and before the sun rose high, they were brought, and he had their hands and feet cut off. Then he ordered for nails which were heated and passed over their eyes, and they were left in the Harra (i.e. rocky land in Medina). They asked for water, and nobody provided them with water till they died.'
Islam and stoning to death?
Sahih al Bukhari, volume 7, book 63, number 196
Narrated Abu Huraira: A man from Bani Aslam came to Allah apostle while he was in the mosque and called (the prophet) saying: “O Allah’s apostle! I have committed illegal sexual intercourse.” On that the prophet turned his face from him to the other side, whereupon the man moved to the side towards which the prophet had turned his face, and said: “O Allah’s apostle! I have committed illegal sexual intercourse.” The prophet turned his face from him to the other side, whereupon the man moved to the side towards which the prophet had turned his face, and repeated his statement. The prophet turned his face to the other side again. The man moved again [and repeated his statement] for the fourth time. So when the man had given testimony against himself for the fourth time, the prophet called him and said: “Are you insane?” He replied: “No”. The prophet then said to his companions: “Go and stone him to death.” The man was a married one. Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said; “I was one of those who stoned him. We stoned him at the musalla (the place of prayer) in Medina. When the stones hit him with their sharp edges, he fled, but we caught him at Al-Harra, and stoned him till he died”.
This hadith is considered the most authentic.
Sahih Muslim Book 017, Number 4191
'Ubada b. as-Samit reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: “Receive (teaching) from me, receive (teaching) from me. Allah has ordained a way for those (women). When an unmarried male commits adultery with an unmarried female (they should receive) one hundred lashes and banishment for one year. And in case of a married male committing adultery with a married female, they shall receive one hundred lashes and be stoned to death”.
Just like the previous one, this hadith is considered the most authentic.

Sahih Muslim, Book 017, number 4201:
Ibn Abbas reported that the messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said to Ma'iz b. Malik: “Is what I heard about you true?” He said: “What did you hear about me?” He said: “I was told that you have committed (adultery) with the slave-girl of so and so.” He said: “Yes”. He (the narrator) said: He testified four times. He (the Holy Prophet) then made pronouncement about him and he was stoned (to death).
There are numerous sahih (authentic) hadiths from Bukhari, Muslim and others famous hadiths collectors that make it crystal clear that the punishment for adultery is to be stoned to death. Those hadiths translate into the following result:
.jpg)
In the image above, a group of Sunni Muslims carry out the sentence of stoning the adulterer under the supervision of a Sunni imam, and in compliance with the most “authentic” hadiths. In
addition to engaging in a most despicable and gruesome act, some of the vile human
beings above actually laugh while
throwing stones at the poor woman. But thank God there is a justice in this
world and the hereafter, and we will see who will
laugh on the Day of Judgment.
In the Holy Quran, the punishment for married males or females and fornicators (the Quran does not make a difference between the two) is 100 (moderate) lashes (24:2). For instance, the Quran provides the example of married women who were former slaves and committed adultery, in which case they receive only “half the punishment” (4:25, 100/2 = 50 lashes). To loathsome human beings who follow hadiths and claim that a married adulterer shall be stoned to death instead of applying the law of Allah (the Quran), I challenge them to divide death by two (See article “fornication, adultery” on this website for extensive details). In the Holy Quran, the only people who ever engage in stoning to death are disbelievers (11:91, 18:20, 19:46, 26:116, 36:18). It is one of their long list of most abominable traits, as engraved in the Holy Quran. In other words, not only stoning to death the adulterer is not a Quranic law and contradicts the Quran, it is the signature mark of disbelievers (kafiroon) in the book of Allah!
The crucial question is: Do you share the same beliefs and behaviors as the disbelievers as described in the Holy Quran? Life is not a game, and if you believe in stoning to death the adulterer and other horrific non Quranic laws, you are in extreme danger of burning in the fire of hell, and here’s the proof:
وَلَا تَشْتَرُوا بِآيَاتِي ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ
(5:44) ... and do not barter My verses (the verses of Allah) for a cheap price, and whoever does not judge according to what Allah has revealed (ie the verses of Allah), these are the ones who are disbelievers (al kafiroon)!
(5:47) And
let the people of the gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever
does not judge according to what Allah revealed,
these are the transgressors!
If you cannot divide death by two (24:2, 4:25), and by Allah, I swear you
will never be able to, the two above verses demonstrate that anyone who advocates
stoning to death the adulterer or other horrible non Quranic punishments is:
1. A disbeliever (kafeer).
2. A transgressor.
Here is their final destiny:
(3:131) And fear the fire which has been prepared for the disbelievers.
(76:4) Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers (al kâfirîn) chains and shackles and a blazing fire.
Stoning to death the female monkey?
Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 58, Number 188:
“During the pre-Islamic period of ignorance I (Muhammad) (PBUH) saw a female monkey surrounded by a number of monkeys. They were all stoning it, because it had committed illegal sexual intercourse. I (Muhammad) too, stoned it along with them.”
Show me one species of monkeys that stone to death the adulterer, then we can talk. The truth is: Even animals do not go as low as stoning to death the adulterer; only disbelievers do. By believing and following hadiths, Sunnis and Shias allow the world to drag the name of Islam and the holy prophet through the mud. Ironically, “Hadiths other than God and His verses” (hadiths other than the Quran) are repeatedly forbidden throughout the Quran (7:185, 12:111, 31:6, 39:23, 45:6, 56:81, 77:50, 17:46).

Shall we kill the apostate?
Hadith al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 260:
Narrated by Ikrima: Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, “Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet said, 'Don't punish (anybody) with Allah's Punishment.' No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) abandons his religion, kill him.'”
Yes, you read it right: This hadith alleges that Ali burned alive some people who abandoned Islam, and Ibn Abbas, who has such a good heart, is shocked by the fact that were burned alive. On the other hand, this pure, sensitive and gentle soul concurs that an apostate shall be put to death. This most unjust death sentence is no more than the Sunni version of religious freedom. It is the sentence universally accepted in the Sunni world. If Ali had really (God forbid) burned alive people for changing their religion, or even simply killed them (God forbid), he would have been thrown in the hellfire for having desecrated God’s law in 2:256 where Allah proclaims:
لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ
(2:256) “There shall be no compulsion in religion…”.
The above hadith therefore violates the law of Allah (the Holy Quran) in the most blatant manner, as the Quran makes it clear that killing a human being unjustly equates to killing the entire mankind (5:32)! If a Muslim decides to change his or her religion, there is absolutely no punishment to be applied according to the book of Allah, and his or her fate in this life and the hereafter rests with God alone.
No big deal to kill a “kafeer” (infidel)?
Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 9, book 83, number 50
I asked 'Ali “Do you have any divine literature besides what is in the Qur'an?” Or, as Uyaina once said, “Apart from what the people have?” 'Ali said, “By Him Who made the grain split (germinate) and created the soul, we have nothing except what is in the Quran and the ability (gift) of understanding the Book of Allah, which He may bless a man with, and what is written on this sheet of paper.” I asked, “What is on this piece of paper?” He replied, “The legal regulations of Diya (Blood-money) and the (ransom for) releasing the captives, and the judgment that no Muslim should be killed in Qisas (equality in punishment) for killing a Kafir (disbeliever).”
Quranic law is based on the law of retaliation or law of equivalence (called “Qisas”, 2:178). This hadith violates the law of equivalence which implies that anyone who murders a human being is eligible for the death penalty, regardless of his or her religion. This said, the Quran does discourage capital punishment in general and opens the door to compensate the family if the brother of the deceased agrees not to go forward with the death penalty (2:178).

Numerous hadiths profess amputating the hand of the thief, which violates Quranic law:
Sahih Muslim, Book 40, Hadith 61
'Abd al-Rahman b. Muhariz said:
We asked Fadalah b. 'Ubaid about the hanging of the [amputated] hand on the neck of a thief as to whether it was a sunnan. He said: “A thief was brought to the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and his hand was cut off. He passed an order after that, and it (i.e. the amputated hand) was hung on his neck”.
As we can see, some of the malevolent laws found in hadiths rival the worst horror movies.
Sahih Muslim, Book 86, Hadith 25
Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Messenger (PBUH) cut off the hand of a thief for stealing a shield that was worth three Dirhams.
Sahih Muslim Book 86, Hadith 29
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah 's Apostle said, “Allah curses the thief who steals an egg (or a helmet) for which his hand is to be cut off, or steals a rope, for which his hand is to be cut off.”
Sunan an-Nasa'i, book 46, sahih hadith 29
A woman had stolen some jewelry (beginning of hadith omitted for sake of brevity). The prophet said: “The people who came before you were eradicated because every time a noble among them stole, they let him get away [with impunity]. But when a person of a lower social status stole, they enforced the punishment [ie. to cut off the hand]. By The One who possesses (lit. “whose hand holds”) the soul of Mohammed, if Fatimah bint Muhammad (the prophet's daughter) stole, I would cut off her hand! He then amputated [the hand of] that woman.”
Once again, hadiths blatantly violate Quranic law in the most horrendous manner: In the Qur'an, verse 5:38 describes the sentence of thieves as symbolically “cutting their hands (meaning “cutting what people possess” in the Quran) as an equivalent retribution of what they have acquired”. The verb “to cut” (qouti'a) is in the form 1 in this verse, which in the Qur'an means “to cut” in a figurative, non-literal sense. The meaning of the word “hand” is also figurative in the Quran in most cases (just like “the hand of God” in the last hadith quoted by the way) and often associated with “possessing” something.
The immediate context of Sura 5 emphasizes the crucial alternation between the verb “qouti'a” (5:38, form 1) and the verb “Qata'a” (5:33, form 2): Furthermore, the verb Qata'a (form 2) in 5:33, like in 5:38, is also judiciously associated with the word “hand” where we see that people who fight God and His messenger and spread corruption on earth (basically mass murderers) either incur the death penalty or have a hand and foot cut on alternate sides so they cannot pose a threat to society in the same way afterwards. The association of the verb “Qata'a” (to cut, 5:33, form 2) and the word “hands” in the Quran systematically means “to cut” in a literal and physical sense. By contrast, in 5:38 which deals with the sentence of the thief, it is the verb “qouti'a” (form 1) which is associated with the word “their hands”, and it is the only time that the two words are used conjointly in the Quran.
Given the grammatical laws of the Arabic language and taking into account the significant alternation of the two verbs in the form 1 and form 2 in a close context (5:33 and 5:38), it is strictly impossible for the verb “qouti 'a” (form 1) in 5:38 to have the same meaning as the verb “Qata'a” (form 2) in 5:33. It must therefore be taken in a figurative sense, which concurs with its predominantly figurative use throughout the Quran.
(5:38) And as for the male thief and the female thief, cut their belongings as an equivalent retribution to what they have acquired: This is an exemplary punishment from God; God is Powerful, Most Wise.
The meaning of the verse shall be “to cut figuratively” (form 1 = figurative use in the Quran) [the fruit of] their hands (meaning: “what they possess” or “their capacity to work”) as an equivalent retribution of what they have acquired” (5:38).
In other words, a fine is applied to what the thief owns that is equivalent to what he stole. Of course, and by definition, the stolen property or its equivalent must also be returned to its rightful owner. If he or she can’t afford the fine, he or she will be forced to work until the fine is met. This just sentence is purely based on the law of retaliation that governs all Quranic law and concurs very exactly with the sentence in the Bible (Exodus 22:2, 22:6, 22:8) where the thief must return the stolen property, doubled with an equivalent fine or, failing that, pay twice as much.
The thief's hand shall NEVER be amputated according to Quranic law, and only godless people under the spell of “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6) ever engage in such atrocities.
1.2 Why are women widely mistreated in the Muslim world
Do hadiths have anything to do with the fact that women are often mistreated in Sunni and Shia Islam? Let’s take a close look at some true pearls of wisdom found in hadith literature:

Most women go to the hellfire, they are deficient in intelligence
Sahih al-Bukhari. Book of Menstrual Periods, number 6
Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Once, the messenger of Allah (PBUH) went out to the Musalla (to offer the prayer) of `Id-al-Adha or Al-Fitr prayer. Then he passed by a women and said, “O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-fire were you (women).” They asked, “Why is it so, O messenger of Allah (PBUH) ?” He replied, “You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you (women). A cautious sensible man could be led astray by some of you.” The women asked, “O messenger of Allah (PBUH)! What is deficient in our intelligence and religion?” He said, “Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?” They replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her intelligence. Isn't it true that a woman can neither pray nor fast during her menses?” The women replied in the affirmative. He said, “This is the deficiency in her religion.”
This hadith is a despicable lie: The Quran never states that being a woman makes you more likely to go to the hellfire, and it is laughable to even claim that they are deficient in intelligence. According to the Quran, women, just like men, must always perform the salât, even during their menses (see article “salât in the Quran” for Quranic proofs). People can avoid fasting during the month of Ramadan if they are sick or on a journey (2:184), but there is no prohibition for a woman not to fast during her menses. If she doesn’t feel well enough, she can fast at a later date (2:184), that’s all. See the article on the “Fast of Ramadan” for more details.

Above, pliers and other instruments are used to mutilate the genitalia of a young girl in the name of hadiths. This is a sample of the horror that people encourage by following “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6).
Is female genital mutilation (“woman circumcision”) recommended in Islam?
Ahmad Ibn Hanbal 5:75; Abu Dawud, Adab 167:
Abu al- Malih ibn `Usama's father relates that the Prophet said: “Circumcision is a law for men and a preservation of honour for women.”
Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 41, Number 5251:
“A woman used to perform circumcision in Madinah. The Prophet (PBUH) said to her: 'When you circumcise, do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband.'”
Sahih Muslim, Book 003, hadith 0684
“When two circumcised parts unite, then bathing becomes obligatory.”
Just to give one example, In Egypt, one of the largest Muslim countries in the world, about 90% of women are victims of female genital mutilation as a result of Sunnis enforcing the satanic hadiths above mentioned.
Circumcision is not mentioned in the Quran, neither for the man nor for the woman. It is therefore not part of Islam. The Quran says that “We created the human being in the best of moulds”, (95:4). Why would we need to alter the mould that God designed and make the human being less than perfect by following horrific pagan practices?
In addition, God informs us that modifying God’s creation is the signature mark of satan:
(4:119) “I (satan) will mislead them, I will entice them, I will command them to (forbid the eating of certain meats by) marking the ears of livestock, and I will command them to distort the creation of GOD.” Anyone who accepts the devil as a lord, instead of GOD, has incurred a profound loss.
Female genital mutilation, stoning to death the adulterer, killing the apostate, cutting the hand of the thief are among the satanic laws that explain why God has cursed Sunnis and Shias for so many centuries as a result of their following “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6) and applying laws other than God’s law (5:44, 5:47): The world of Islam has been experiencing frequent wars, terrorism, dictatorship, colonization, loss of Palestine and Palestinians being persecuted and living under a regime of apartheid, corruption, famine, poverty, etc….
God’s curse will not stop as long as they refuse to purify themselves and follow the Quran alone.

A woman is crooked like a rib:
Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 7, book 62, hadith 113
Narrated Abu Huraira: “The messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “The woman is like a rib; if you try to straighten her, she will break. So if you want to benefit from her, do so while she has some crookedness.
Is it women who are crooked or “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6)?
It is very bad to cut women’s fingers, what shall be the punishment?:
Hanbal, 2/182; Muwatta, 43/11:
The punishment for cutting the fingers of a woman is to pay her: 10 camels for one finger; 20 camels for two fingers; 30 camels for three fingers, and 20 (twenty) camels for four fingers.
One gets a discount after cutting the fourth finger: The penalty goes down from 30 camels for three fingers to twenty camels for four fingers! Sunni Islam is all about compassion for the sinner, and it is just fair to allow discounts for large quantities. Bottom line: If you already have cut off three fingers to a woman, just cut off another one and you will save 10 camels! This is just another disgusting, typical hadith nonsense; all we can say is that it is no surprise that women are treated like garbage in Sunni Islam.

Are Women, horses and homes bad omen?
Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 30:
“Bad omen is in the woman, the horse and the home.”
Is the bad omen really upon women, horses and homes, or upon those who believe and follow “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6)? We are touching here the real reason why the Muslim world has been in turmoil in every way for so many centuries, when it would have thrived and experienced peace had it followed the Quran alone. On the Day of Judgment, the prophet Muhammad will declare: “My people have abandoned the Quran” (25:30). They abandoned the Word of God by allowing themselves to be under the spell of “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6).
Is the ritual prayer (salât) nullified by women, asses, monkeys and black dogs? Is a black dog a devil?

According to hadiths, black dogs are devils that nullify your prayer if they pass in front of you
Sahih Muslim, Book 4, Hadith 299
Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of 'Allah (may peace be upon him) said: “When any one of you stands for prayer and there is a thing before him equal to the back of the saddle that covers him and in case there is not before him (a thing) equal to the back of the saddle, his prayer would be cut off by (passing of an) ass, woman, and black Dog”. I said: O Abu Dharr, what feature is there in a black dog which distinguish it from the red dog and the yellow dog? He said: O, son of my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) as you are asking me, and he said: “The black dog is a devil”.
In Europe people have that stupid superstition about black cats, in Sunni Islam it’s about black dogs. Superstitions have no business in true Islam.
Sahih al-Bukhari 8/102; Hanbal 4/86
“If a monkey, a black dog or a woman passes in front of a praying person, his prayer is nullified.”
Apparently pigs don’t nullify the prayer, too bad women do… One thing that would most definitely nullify the prayer is reciting hadiths during the prayer, because they are impure and not inspired nor revealed by God, and certainly not an ass, a monkey, a black dog or a woman passing in front of someone performing the salât.

Sahih al-Bukhari volume 7, book 62, hadith 132:
"Narrated Zam'a, "The prophet said, "None of you should flog his wife as he flogs a female slave and then have sexual intercourse with her in the last part of the day."
Basically, this hadith tells us that you can flog your wife, but not as hard as you would flog a female slave, and if you do so, please be a good husband and give her a little break by not having a sexual intercourse with her for the rest of the day so she can recover from the beating.
Should this hadith be classified as “sahih” (authentic) or as "purely despicable"? You be the judge.
Abu Dawud Book 11, hadith 2142: Umar reported the prophet as saying: “A man will not be asked as to why he beat his wife”.
We are instructed here that if someone beats his wife, do not interfere. Mind your own business! This kind of despicable hadiths is a big part of why domestic violence is an endemic problem in the Sunni world.
Abu Dawud 2142 : Book 12, Hadith 97
Mu'awiyah asked: Messenger of Allah, what is the right of the wife of one of us over him? He replied: “That you should give her food when you eat, clothe her when you clothe yourself, do not strike her on the face, do not revile her or separate yourself from her except in the house”.
Can you believe it?: One of the “wife’s rights” is not to be stricken in the face! We have here another confirmation that a husband is permitted to beat his wife. But, pleeaaase, be a good husband and respect her rights: Do not strike her in the face!
We could quote more of such despicable hadiths about wife beating, but I am going to stop here, otherwise I am going to vomit.
Such horrific hadiths have had a catastrophic influence regarding the way verse 4:24 of the Quran has been interpreted, and this for over a thousand years, as Sunni and Shia clerics interpret the verb “daraba” (ضَرَبَ = form 1) in 4:24 as meaning “to beat” or “to scourge”. Below, a typical translation of 4:24:
Pickthall translation:
(4:34) Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.
The verb “daraba” has about 30 (thirty) different meanings in Arabic. Once you take into account the context of the sura and the rest of the Quran, the real meaning of the verb “daraba” in 4:34 is “to shun” or “ignore” not “to beat”. Verse 4:34 tells us that we have to “protect” or “guard the women” (see translation below), “live with them in kindness” (4:19); God favors reconciliation between spouses if there is a risk of separation (4:128), and God says that he has “placed love and mercy between spouses” (30:21). All these meanings go against the malevolent hadith inspired notion of “beating” your wife. I know very well what I am talking about because I studied in great depth this particular issue and wrote a very detailed article entitled “4:34: Beat your wife?”(available on this website). I invite the sincere who wants to contribute to eradicating domestic violence in the world to seriously study it.
The real meaning of 4:34 is the following:
(4:34) Men shall protect women, because of what God has bestowed on the former in comparison to the latter, as well as with what they spend of their wealth. Therefore, righteous women are devoutly obedient [to God’s commands] when it comes to guard the intimate and private aspects [of a marriage] which God has meant to be guarded. As for those [women] from whom you fear disloyal behavior, then warn them and avoid them in bed and shun them (or “ignore them”); and if they obey you, seek no [further retaliatory] measures (lit. “way”) against them. Indeed, God is Ever Exalted, Most Great.
In other words, the message of the Holy Quran is about resorting to wisdom instead of violence by “ignoring” your wife if she is disloyal. Domestic violence has no justification whatsoever in pure Islam, while “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6) clearly permit it, including flogging.
To conclude this section, It is overwhelmingly clear that a large number of hadiths regarding women are absolutely despicable and grossly contradict the Quran. They are directly responsible for the appalling way women have been mistreated for over a thousand years in Sunni and Shia Islam. The Holy Quran is a message of faith, good deeds and purity, and has nothing to do with the malevolent message advocated by hadiths.

1.3 Hadiths contradict the Quran, and contradict themselves
Is it possible to tamper with the Quran according to the hadiths?
What does traditional Islam have to say concerning the many hadiths which claim that an entire verse is not only missing from the Quran, but lost forever?
Ibn Maajah, 36/1944; Hanbal, 3/61; 5/131, 132, 183; 6/269:
“The parchment on which the verse about stoning to death for adultery was written, was eaten and abrogated by a goat.”
This despicable lie shamefully contradicts the Holy Quran where God decreed that He protected the Quran from any alteration (15:9). Furthermore, God proclaims that “nothing can abrogate His words” (لَا مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ, 6:115, 18:27). The problem is that Sunnis believe that a goat and even other hadiths can.

Muhammad bewitched?
Sahih al-Bukhari, 59/11; 76/47; Hanbal 6/57; 4/367:
The Prophet had been bewitched by a Jew, and for several days he did not know what he was doing.
First of all, the fact that this hadith mentions that it is a Jew who cast a spell on Muhammad is meant to depict Jews as evil. Hatred against Jews and Christians is a commonplace in hadith literature. In addition, it contradicts the Holy Quran which states unequivocally that Muhammad was never a madman (7:184, 23:70, 34:46, 52:29, 68:2).
Hadiths are crippled with ridiculous examples and numerous contradictions. Example:
Should we urinate sitting or standing?:
- The Prophet never urinated in a standing position. (Masnad Hanbal, 6/136, 192, 213)
- The Prophet urinated in a standing position. (Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/60, 62)
How old was the prophet when he died?
- “The messenger of Allah died when he was sixty-three years of age” (sahih al-Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 742).
- “Allah took him (the prophet, PBUH) away when he had just reached the age of sixty” (Muslim Book 030, Number 5794).
- The prophet died at the age of sixty five (Muslim Book 030, Number 5805).
Is Muhammad “the most honorable messenger”?
- “I am the most honorable messenger” (Sahih al-Bukhari 97/36).
- “Do not make any distinction among the messengers; I am not even better than Jonah” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, hadith 608; Hanbal 1/205,242,440).
The Quran proclaims that it is forbidden to make any distinction among the messengers (2:136, 2:285, 3:84 and 4:152).

When do we perform “the middle prayer” according to hadiths:
Verse 2:238 of the Quran points at the practice of “the middle prayer” (al salât al wustâ). To which prayer does it refer to according to hadiths?
Sahih Muslim, Book 4, hadith 1316:
Abu Yunus, the freed slave of 'A'isha said: 'A'isha ordered me to transcribe a copy of the Qur'an for her and said: When you reach this verse: “Guard the prayers and the middle prayer” (2:238), inform me; so when I reached it, I informed her and she gave me dictation (in the following manner): “Guard the prayers and the middle prayer and the afternoon prayer (‘asr prayer = middle of the afternoon prayer in Sunni and Shia Islam), and stand up truly obedient to Allah”. 'A'isha said: This is how I have heard from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).
In this hadith, “the middle prayer” is clearly the noon prayer.
Saheeh Muslim, Book 4, Number 1317:
Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib reported: This verse was revealed (in this way): “Guard the prayers and the 'Asr prayer.” We recited it (in this very way) so long as Allah desired. Allah, then, abrogated it and it was revealed: “Guard the prayers, and the middle prayer.” A person who was sitting with Shaqiq (one of the narrators in the chain of transmitters) said: “So now it implies the 'Asr prayer?”. Upon this al-Bara' said: I have already informed you how this (verse) was revealed and how Allah abrogated it, and Allah knows best.
In this hadith, “the middle prayer” is the ‘asr (middle of the afternoon) prayer.
Al Muwatta by imam Malik, Book 8, hadith 29:
Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Ali Ibn Abi Talib and Abdallah ibn Abbas used to say, “the middle prayer is the prayer of subh.”
In this hadith, “the middle prayer” is the morning prayer.
In other words, according to hadiths, the middle prayer is either the noon prayer, middle of the afternoon prayer, or morning prayer (!!!). Weren’t hadiths supposed to clarify or explain the Quran, as Sunnis claim, or confuse people and create dissensions? According to the Holy Quran, the “middle prayer” is the “noon” prayer. See the article “salât in the Quran” and “miracle of 2:238” for all details and proofs.
The Quran proclaims:
(4:82) Why do they not reflect upon the Quran? If it were from other than GOD, they would have found in it many contradictions.
What we have seen in this section is just a sample of contradictions found between hadiths. There are a great number of them, and the life of a human being would most likely not be enough to detect all of them.
1.4 Scientific miracles in hadiths and other absurd hadiths:
There are many profound scientific miracles in hadiths. Examples:
Ibn Katheer 2/29; 50/1:
The earth is carried on a giant bull; when it shakes its head, then an earthquake occurs.

Above: Are these the horns of satan or the shadows of boat sails at sunrise?
Sahih Muslim, Book 6, Hadith 353
Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (PBUH) as saying: Do not intend to observe prayer at the time of the rising of the sun nor at its setting, for it rises between the horns of Satan.
It looks like satan tries to hide behind the horizon when the sun rises, but guess what? We can still see his horns!
“Hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6) are based on conjecture and superstition, not facts. If you start performing the dawn prayer seconds before the sun starts rising, it is valid. Otherwise, you missed the dawn prayer (it is a great sin to miss any prayer in Islam), and you cannot do it later (see “salât in the Quran”). As for the horns of satan, this hadith speaks for itself.
Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 19, Hadith 25
Narrated 'Abdullah : A person was mentioned before the Prophet (PBUH) and he was told that he had kept on sleeping till morning and had not got up for the prayer. The Prophet said, “Satan urinated in his ears.”
For the record, satan is a jinn (18:50) and they are not even part of this realm (7:27), therefore satan does not urinate and this hadith is not only ridiculous, it is a lie.
Geocentrism: The sun sets under God’s throne after sunset:
Hadith al-Bukhari, Book 59, Hadith 10
The Prophet (PBUH) asked me at sunset, “Do you know where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?” I replied, “Allah and His Apostle know best.” He said, “It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it is permitted and then (a time will come when) it will be about to prostrate itself but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go on its course but it will not be permitted, but it will be ordered to return whence it has come and so it will rise in the west. And that is the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: “And the sun runs its fixed course for a term (decreed). That is the decree of (Allah), The Exalted in Might, The All- Knowing.” (36.38)
This hadith claims that the sun goes down where the throne of God is located! This would imply that the throne of God is always located towards the west wherever you are on earth. This is just another false hadith which provides a geocentric view of the earth instead of our planet being a sphere that rotates around the sun.

Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 76, Hadith 91
I heard Allah's Messenger (PBUH) saying, “Whoever takes seven 'Ajwa dates in the morning will not be affected by magic or poison on that day.”
Eat seven ajwa dates in the morning, then ingest some cyanide or other lethal poison later, I guarantee you 100% that you will end up six feet under. You have to be an idiot to believe this hadith, and the same goes for all other hadiths, which are condemned and prohibited in the Quran BY NAME (7:185, 12:111, 31:6, 39:23, 45:6, 77:50).
Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 9, Hadith 15
Narrated Abu Sa`id: Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said, “Pray Zuhr (midday) prayer when it becomes (a bit) cooler as the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire.”
According to the Quran, the dhur (midday prayer) starts shortly after the call to prayer when the sun reaches its highest point according to the Quran. For example we must attend the Friday noon prayer as soon as it is called for (62:9). When it is time to submit to God and glorify Him, you don’t “wait until it becomes cooler”, you obey God and you do it right away. Therefore this hadith is an outright lie. As for the claim that “the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire” at noon, there is no need to explain: It is absurd.

Hadiths provide us invaluable scientific insight:
Sahih Muslim, Book 36, Hadith 246
Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (PBUH) as saying that a non-Muslim eats in seven intestines whereas a Muslim eats in one intestine.
This is the kind of hadith from which the world must listen and learn: Who could possibly know at the time this hadith was written down that non Muslims have 7 (seven) intestines, while Muslims only have one?! Men of science need to leave their current state of ignorance and we must urgently update books of anatomy all around the world.
I am sure you are getting my point, and this is another blatant example where hadiths followers should be ashamed of themselves.
Sahih Muslim, Book 2, Hadith 31
The Apostle of Allah (PBUH) said. When any one of you awakes up from sleep and performs ablution, he must clean his nose three times, for the devil spends the night in the interior of his nose.
Finally I understand why Sunnis wash their nose three times during the ablutions!
The ablutions decreed by God in the Quran are not based on ridiculous superstition and are the following:
(5:6) O you who believe, once you stand up to observe the ritual prayer then: (1) wash your faces, (2) wash your hands and up to the elbows, (3) rub your heads and (4) your feet up to your ankles.
Do you see in the Quran fully detailed (6:114, 7:52, 10:37) that we have to wash our nose three times? Of course not. Therefore the above hadith is a lie.

Black cumin cures absolutely everything except death:
Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 76, Hadith 10
We went out and Ghalib bin Abjar was accompanying us. He fell ill on the way and when we arrived at Medina he was still sick. Ibn Abi 'Atiq came to visit him and said to us, “Treat him with black cumin. Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture into both nostrils, for `Aisha has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet (PBUH) saying, 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As-Sam.' Aisha said, 'What is As-Sam?' He said, 'Death.”
Black cumin, like so many plants, does have some medicinal properties; but it is an outright lie to claim that it is a cure for all diseases. Millions of people around the world would die if they relied on this hadith every time they are seriously ill.

Sahih Muslim, Book 039, Number 6725:
This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of Abdullah b. Mas'ud (who said): We were along with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) in Mina, when the moon was split up into two. One of its parts was behind the mountain and the other one was on this side of the mountain. Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said to us: “Bear witness to this”.
Hold on a minute! Did you say that one part of the moon was “behind the mountain and the other part on the other side of the mountain”?! Either I missed something and this “miracle” is just too good, or this is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard in my life. This hadith simply shows that “Imam” Muslim, regarded as a saint in Sunni Islam, did not have a clue as to what the moon really is and how far it is. A large number of hadiths grossly contradict science in many ways and provide us incontrovertible proof that attempting to gather reliable hadiths 200 years after the death of the holy prophet was not only totally impossible and unreliable, but utterly absurd: The first hadiths were written down two centuries after the death of the prophet (al-Bukhari, Muslim) and no decent court of law in the world would ever accept the testimony of a person based on oral traditions two hundred years after his death. The real miracle of the splitting of the moon (54:1) is described in the article “splitting of the moon” on this website (it is both a physical and allegorical miracle) and has absolutely nothing to do with the moon being actually split in two halves as hadith literature claims.
1.5 Hadiths: Racism and disrespect towards Jews and Christians
Hadiths and racism, Muhammad expressing racist views regarding people of color?:
Sahih al-Bukhari Vol 9, Book 89, Number 256:
Narated By Anas bin Malik : Allah’s Apostle said, “You should listen to and obey your ruler even if he is an Ethiopian (black) slave whose head looks like a raisin.”
Sahih Muslim. book 10, hadith 3901
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: There came a slave and he pledged allegiance to Allah’s apostle (PBUH) during the migration; he (the prophet) did not know he was a slave. Then came his master who demanded him back, whereupon Allah’s apostle (PBUH) said: “Sell him to me.” And he bought him in exchange for two black slaves; and he did not take allegiance from anyone (afterwards) until he had asked him whether he was a slave (or free man).
This hadith is racist and is a lie: The prophet’s mission was to guide the human race to Islam and he had to accept the allegiance of every human being, regardless of social status. He would have miserably failed his mission had he not accepted the allegiance of slaves.

A number of hadiths encourage disrespecting Jews and Christians. Example:
Sahih Muslim 2167:
Do not initiate to the Jews and the Christians [the greeting of] salaam; and when you meet any one of them on the roads force him to go to the narrowest part of it.
This despicable hadith grossly contradicts the Quran which advocates greeting people (regardless of their religion) with a better greeting than you are greeted with (4:86). We are encouraged to say “peace” even to unbelievers (43:89) and Abraham said to his father “peace be upon you” despite the fact that he was an idol worshiper (19:47). In addition, the Quran encourages us to “invite to the path of our Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment and debate with Jews and Christians in the best possible manner” (16:124-125). The above hadith exemplifies immorality. It is light years away from the purity of the Quran and is very typical of the disrespect and hatred towards Jews and Christians so deeply entrenched in hadiths.
Hadiths: A call to exterminate Jews:
Sahih Muslim book 41, hadith 6981:
Ibn ‘Umar reported the messenger of Allah as saying: “You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them until even a stone would say: “Come here, Muslim, there is a Jew (hiding himself behind me); kill him!

Sahih Muslim, book 54, hadith 2922:
Abu Huraira reported that the messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: “The last hour will not come until the Muslims will fight against the Jews; the Muslims will kill them until the Jews will hide themselves behind a stone or a tree, and the tree will say: “Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him!”; but the Gharqad tree (Boxthorn tree, a thorny type of bush) will not say anything, because it is the tree of the Jews.
Sunnis frequently quote these so called “authentic hadiths” as a call to exterminate Jews. Do we really need to lower ourselves to the point of having to say that stones and trees do not speak?! Unfortunately, Sunnis and Shias are often filled with so much hatred that they can't even see the obvious: No, trees and stones do not speak; however, the above hadiths do speak for themselves for being so absurd, most despicable and profoundly racist. No wonder there is so much religious bias, hatred and racism in Sunni and Shia Islam.

1.6 Too ridiculous to be true, but true
satan passes gas with noise (farts) during the adhan
Sahih al-Bukhari, book 4, hadith 22:
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s apostle said: “When the adhan is pronounced, satan takes to his heel (flees) and passes gas with noise during his flight in order not to hear the adhan. When the adhan is completed, he comes back and again takes to his heel when the iqama is pronounced (the iqama is the second adhan according to Sunni Islam) and after its completion he returns again till he whispers into the heart of the person (to divert his attention from his prayer) and makes him remember things which he does not recall to his mind before the prayer and that causes him to forget how much he has prayed.”
When Sunnis hear the words "Sahih al-Bukhari", "Sahih Muslim" or else, they are programmed to believe that it is the inspired truth and word from the holy prophet, when it is nothing but lies. As a Muslim, how not to be ashamed that the so called “Muslim world” has embraced the hadith nonsense. We shall be proud to be Muslims, not ashamed, and the only way to fix this is to submit to God and discard all “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6) and purify ourselves by following the Quran alone.
All these hadiths are considered Sahih (authentic) and pass the test invented by Sunni scholars who invented the criteria to accept or reject them. There are hundreds and hundreds of such hadiths which blatantly contradict the Holy Quran, violate its laws, and dishonor Islam.
2. When Sunni religious authorities cite seemingly beautiful hadiths to try to get away with murder
As we just saw, and among other horrors, hadiths advocate stoning to death the adulterer and putting to death the so called “apostate”, which includes killing someone who doesn’t pray: Believing or enforcing such satanic hadiths is being either complicit or guilty of the worst type of murder, and we already witnessed that they grossly contradict the Quran. It is basically equivalent to selling your soul to the devil:
(5:44) ... and do not barter My verses (the verses of Allah) for a cheap price, and whoever does not judge according to what Allah has revealed (ie the verses of Allah), these are the ones who are disbelievers (al kafiroun)!
(5:47) And let the people of the gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge according to what Allah revealed, these are the transgressors!
So my question is “how do Sunni and Shia clerics and their throngs of followers who believe in such pagan laws manage to seemingly “get away with murder”? How do they manage to look at themselves in the mirror, and how do they still find a way to convince people to follow “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:5) despite the overwhelming Quranic evidence against them?

2.1. Even the “golden rule” hadiths are factually untrue
Most of the time, and except for Sunni extremists who openly embrace the most horrible hadiths, Sunni clerics avoid talking about the type of hadiths quoted in section 1, some of which are directly responsible for the death and misery of countless human beings throughout history. They much prefer to bury their heads in the sand and focus on the seemingly good ones. satan is devilishly smart: He knows full well that if you want people to swallow poison, you have to mix it with a lot of honey, otherwise people would never swallow it. If you want people to accept the most horrendous and ridiculous hadiths and turn the blind eye regarding all their contradictions, the best way is to mix some truth or seemingly beautiful hadiths along with those lies; otherwise, no one would ever take the bait.
We chose to provide below the example of the “golden rule hadiths” which are the very type of hadiths that imams use to try to persuade themselves and their followers that following “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6) is the one true path of Islam:
The following hadiths are closely related to the words of Jesus (quoted later in this section) known as “the golden rule”, hence their name:
Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 2, Hadith 6
Narrated Anas: The Prophet (PBUH) said, “None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself.”
Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Hadith 77
It is narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the Prophet (PBUH) observed: “None amongst you believes (truly) until he loves for his brother” - or he said “for his neighbor” – “that which he loves for himself.”
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5039, Book 47, Hadith 55
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that: The Prophet (PBUH) said: “None of you has believed until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

Golden rule hadiths: Too beautiful not to be true, but patently false
When people see such “beautiful sahih hadiths” they often feel tears in their eyes or even start crying and tell themselves: “How could hadiths as a whole be false (including horrific laws that contradict the Quran) when you read hadiths that are so beautiful and profound?”. The “golden rule hadiths” are the kind of hadiths that a lot of imams typically quote and use as bait when they deliver sermons on Friday in order to give themselves good conscience and easily mislead people.
So, you took the bait regarding the “golden rule hadiths”? The imam will tell you: “Congratulations! It means that you believe in hadiths and that you are a good Muslim”. He will then tell you that “if you are a true Muslim, you must also believe in sahih (authentic) hadiths in general.” And this is how they manage to lure people to swallow the poison regarding all the horrible hadiths quoted in part 1 (kill the adulterer, kill the apostate, cut the hand of the thief, beat your wife, etc…).
This is why it is my duty to warn you about the miserable fate reserved in the hereafter for those who do “not judge according to what Allah has revealed”, and who are called “kâfiroon” by Allah:
(5:44) ... and do not barter My verses (the verses of Allah) for a cheap price, and whoever does not judge according to what Allah has revealed (ie the verses of Allah), these are the ones who are disbelievers (al kafiroun)!
We know the fate of « disbelievers » in the hereafter:
(76:4) Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers (al kâfirîn) chains and shackles and a blazing fire.
It is so beautiful and touching to succumb to emotion and cry reading the golden hadiths, basically taking the bait of hadiths; the problem is that you are then in a great danger of crying a lot longer, and much louder, in the hereafter.
But, do you even know that the “golden rule hadiths”, even though they look to good not to be true, are, just like all the others, patently false? The reason is that they contradict the Quran, and here’s why:
The essence of Islam is to “believe and do good deeds” (2:25, 2:82, 2:277, 3:57, 4:57, 4:122, …, 103:3) which guarantees people to go to paradise (22:14, 22:23):
(2:277) Indeed, those who (1) believe and (2) do good deeds, and perform the salât and fulfill the obligation of zakât, their reward belongs with their Lord; No fear shall weigh upon them, nor shall they grieve.
The above verse is one of many that show that faith in God by itself is not enough, and that you MUST do good deeds along with believing in God to go to paradise. It is why God made it mandatory to perform the salât (a symbol and act of faith) and fulfill the obligation of zakât (a symbol and act of charity). Therefore, the Quran tells you that indeed you can believe in God, but if you do not do good deeds at the same time, it will prevent you from going to paradise. Therefore when hadiths tell you that “None of you will have faith till he wishes for his brother (or neighbor) what he likes for himself” or the like, it may sound beautiful and even may make some people cry, but it is factually untrue as it contradicts the Holy Quran. Furthermore the Quran does not want you to simply “wish for your brother what you like for yourself” as this al-Bukhari hadith puts it, but to actually and physically make the difference by giving in charity and helping people. “Wishing” is absolutely and definitely not enough.
The Quran again says:
(3:92) You will never attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love, and whatever you may spend from, in truth, God is fully aware of it.
The Quran is miraculously precise and does not tell you that “you cannot believe until you spend from that which you love” (which would closely match the “Golden rule” hadiths) but that “You will never attain righteousness until you spend from that which you love”. The above verse is the pure truth, unlike the so called “golden rule hadiths” quoted earlier which look beautiful at first sight, but are tainted with falsehood and factually untrue.
And let’s not forget another verse that is infinitely more profound than the so called “golden rule hadiths”:
(19:96) Indeed, those who believe and do good deeds, God will shower them with love.
As mentioned earlier and, even though untrue because poorly formulated, the “golden rule hadiths” are very much inspired from the Bible, Old and New Testament, especially the following words of Jesus, known as “the Golden rule”:

Mathhew 7:12
“In all things, whatever you wish that others may do to you, do also to them, for this is the law and the prophets.”
Mark 12:28-31:
28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] There is no commandment greater than these.”
Jesus himself quoted the second above commandment from Leviticus 19:18
“‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
See also Leviticus 19:34.
The words of Jesus and Leviticus are much deeper and truthful than the hadiths which claim that, “None of you will have faith till he wishes for his brother or neighbor what he likes for himself.”
Allah wants results (2:277, 3:92), not “wishes”.
2. Typical lies that Sunnis spread to claim we need hadiths
Here are two typical kinds of lies you will hear in the Sunni world to attempt to validate hadiths. I personally heard the following arguments in several mosques and online:
1. “If we don’t need hadiths, as they (Muslims who follow the Quran alone) claim, how do you perform the salât just following the Quran alone?”
Most of the time, people are not ready for this question because they never studied the Quran in depth regarding this particular subject, so they nod their heads to the imam in agreement: “O my God, he is so right!”. In fact, this is 100% false as all details of the salât are indeed consigned in the fully detailed Quran (as proven in the article on this website entitled “salât in the Quran”) including the number of prayers, rakaʿât, tashahhud, the detail of ablutions, the tone of voice during the prayer, and much much more.

(3:31) Say!: “If you do love God, then follow me. God will then love you and forgive your sins. God is Forgiver, Merciful.”?
2. Sunni and Shia imams will also typically tell you: “The Quran commands that if you love God, you must follow the messenger”, now that Muhammad is dead, how can you “follow the messenger” if you do not follow the hadiths and Sunna that were so carefully preserved after him and complete all the details of our religion?” Again, the people in the mosque nod their heads in agreement, completely unaware that they are totally manipulated: “Yes, he is so right!”.
We will deal with this particular point and others later in detail, but I will clear that lie in one sentence right now by saying that 332 times, God commanded to the holy prophet to say specific sentences to people around him by ordering him: “Qul!” (Say!), followed by specific words that he had to deliver around him, and destined afterwards to be read and heard by the human race until the Day of Judgment. This is one example of 332 most profound authentic hadiths found directly in the Quran. Therefore, and even though the prophet passed away well over 1400 years ago, we still “follow the messenger” or “obey God and the messenger” every single day of our lives by following the Quran alone which includes the very words which God ordered him to proclaim to the entire mankind and until the Day of Judgment.
Hadiths regularly disfigure and taint Islam with falsehood, at best they will simply concur with the Quran fully detailed and will add strictly nothing to God’s last revelation. In most cases they will divert people who believe in them from pure Islam. In virtually 100% of cases they are false and prohibited by the Holy Quran as evidenced in the next section.
3. The Quran: The only hadith we should follow and believe in
(7:185) Have they not looked at the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all the things that God has created? And does it ever occur to them that the end of their life may be near? Then, in which Hadith (= saying/word), other than this (Quran) do they believe in?
(12:111) Verily, there is a lesson to be drawn from their stories for men who possess intelligence. This (Quran) is not a fabricated Hadith; On the contrary, it confirms that which came before it, it provides a detailed explanation of everything, as well as guidance and mercy for people who believe.
(31:6) Among the people, there are those who uphold baseless Hadiths to divert from the path of God without knowledge, and take it (the Quran) as a mockery. These have incurred a humiliating retribution.
(39:23) God has revealed [herein] the best Hadith: It is a book that is consistent, and points out both ways (to Heaven and Hell). It makes the skins of those who fear their Lord shiver; in the end, their skins and their hearts soften up at God’s remembrance. Such is God's guidance; which He bestows upon whomever He wills. As for whomever God lets go astray, there is no guide for him.
(45:6) These are God’s verses which we recite unto you [O Muhammad] truthfully. Therefore, in which Hadith other than GOD and His verses do they believe in?
“In which Hadith other than GOD and His verses do they believe?”: This makes it clear that whichever hadiths from Muhammad that is not already directly cited in the Quran cannot possibly be followed or trusted because it would be a hadith other than “God and His verses”.
فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَ
(77:50) Then, in which Hadith, other than this (Quran), do they believe?
Let us imagine that the hadiths attributed to Muhammad were authentic, which is lights years from being the case. Even then, some of his sayings would contain mistakes. We cannot blindly rely on words of men, even when they are messengers: Only God’s revelation (the Quran) is perfect and does not contain any “contradictions” as witnessed in 4:82. The Quran provides us the only authentic hadiths of past messengers (they usually provide good examples, and sometimes bad ones, proving how imperfect they are), as well as authentic hadiths of all kind of human beings in the history of mankind (kings, soldiers, men, women, believers, disbelievers, angels, satan…).
In addition, and when it comes to hadiths collections, we know that the earliest were written down about two centuries after Muhammad passed away. As a result. they contain numerous contradictions, and the rules that were designed to establish which hadiths are allegedly reliable and which ones are not were established by men who strayed away from the right path, not by God.
God is the one who teaches the Quran, not Muhammad:
(55:1) The Most Gracious. (55:2) He is the one who taught the Quran.
God did not need any of Muhammad’s sayings (other than those He chose to be part of the last revelation) to clarify the message of the Quran for mankind after he passed away. The reason is that God Himself is the one who teaches the Quran, which He designed to be fully detailed. It contains all the information we need to inherit the perfect religion.
4. Quranic verses cited out of context to justify following hadiths and sunnah.
4.1 The meaning of verse 59:7
Aside from the fact that whoever has a good heart will naturally reject horrible and absurd hadiths, we are going to study in detail why it is shameful both to believe in them and disgraceful to call people who reject them “kafeerun” (infidels).
Sunnis and Shias claim that the Quran is not fully detailed and that we need the Hadiths and Sunnah of the prophet to complement the Quran. Let us study the verses upon which they rely to claim that the Quran corroborates following sayings and traditions other than the Holy book revealed to Muhammad.

Sunnis and Shias regularly quote verse 59:7:
(59:7) …whatever the Messenger gives you, take it, and refrain from whatever he forbids you…
This is usually how they will choose to quote the verse. At first glance, it seems that the meaning they derive from the verse may be correct, but if you take a closer look, you will see three little points of suspension (…) before and after the sentence. Could it be that the verse has been only quoted partially? Let us read the entire verse just in case to check if the meaning endorsed by Sunni authorities is correct, or if there is a more somber agenda behind the fact that the verse is only quoted partially:
(59:7) Whatever [spoils] from the people of the towns God has turned over on His Messenger, shall belong to God, His Messenger, as well as those closely related, the orphans, the poorest people and the wayfarer in need; so that it does not remain among the rich among you. Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it and refrain from whatever he forbids you. Fear God; for God is stern in retribution.
Verse 59:7 is directly related to verse 8:41:
(8:41) And [you shall] know that whatever spoils of war you may get, a fifth (20%) belongs to God, as well as the messenger, the close relatives, the orphans, the needy, and the [stranded] wayfarer, if only you believe in God and in what was sent down to Our servant on the day of decision, the day when the two parties clashed; God has complete power over everything.
Therefore, once placed in its proper context, it becomes obvious that verse 59:7 has absolutely nothing to do with advocating following the hadiths or sunnah of the prophet. Verse 59:7 is connected to 8:41 and simply refers to the fact that if spoils of war are seized after a battle, there are different categories of people to whom a 20% share (specifically mentioned in 8:41) should go to as obligatory charity (zakât). Therefore, aside from what is set aside as charity after the battle, whatever the messenger gives to his soldiers from the spoils of war, they have to take it, and refrain from whatever he forbids them.
In other words, Sunnis and Shias are intentionally lying to you: They extract from the verse a radically different meaning than the one intended by God in order to entice them to follow “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6), thus diverting them from the right path of Islam.
God categorically condemns such evil behavior:
(5:13) Thus, as a result of their breaking their covenant, we cursed them (the children of Israel) and We hardened their hearts: They distort the words [of God] from their context and forgot part of what they were reminded of it [the Torah]; you will not cease to unveil their treachery, except a few of them. So forgive them and ignore [them]. Indeed, God loves those who do good deeds.

4.2 The messenger teaches us the book and wisdom
The second example of manipulation of the word of God to attempt to justify following “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6) is that the Quran mentions in several instances that God or his messengers teach us “the book and wisdom”: They claim that the book, of course, is the Quran, and that the wisdom corresponds to hadiths and sunna, which shed light on or clarify the Quran in many instances, alleging that the book of God is not self sufficient, that is to say not fully detailed.
(2:129) Our Lord! Designate a messenger among them who will recite Your verses, and will teach them the book and wisdom, and will purify them. In truth, you are The Almighty, Most wise.
(2:151) Likewise, We have sent you a messenger from among you who recites to you Our verses and purifies you and teaches you the book and wisdom and teaches that which you did not know.
وَيُعَلِّمُهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنجِيلَ
(3:48) And He (God) will teach him (Jesus) the book and wisdom, the thora and the gospel.
(3:81) And when God took a covenant from the prophets [He said]: “This is what I gave you (second person plural) from the Book and wisdom. Afterwards, a messenger came to you (second person plural) confirming what was with you (second person plural): You shall believe in him and you shall support him.” He said, “Do you approve and take this burden of mine?” They said, “We approve.” He said: “Then bear witness, and I stand with you among the witnesses.”
We see in the above verses that God gave the book and wisdom to numerous messengers, not just Muhammad. Where are their authentic books of hadiths beside the book of God? What is the connection between “wisdom” and “hadiths” when the latter are not even mentioned? Absolutely none, of course. But I certainly do have a question for those who claim otherwise: “In the hadiths that advocate stoning to death the adulterer, killing the apostate, performing genital mutilation on women, cutting the hand of the thief, or that allow beating or flogging your wife if she disobeys, and all the other horrible things that contradict and violate the Quran and drag the name of Islam and the prophet through the mud, where is the so called “wisdom” you are talking about?” Respond to this if you are truthful!
If you give the Quran to someone who is astray, how can he benefit from it? He initially lacks wisdom, and if God does not endow it to him, he will remain in his ignorance. God points out that He gives “the book and wisdom” because His books (the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran) are utterly useless if we are not blessed with wisdom at the same time. We see in 3:48 and 3:81 that not only God teaches “the book and wisdom” to His messengers, but that messengers in turn teach “the book and wisdom” to the believers (2:129, 2:151). Wisdom is God’s gift; it is immaterial (unlike hadiths which are compiled into books) and is based on faith, good deeds and justice; it is the exact opposite of the message of corruption advocated by “hadiths other than God and His verses” (45:6). Messengers or simple believers, we all intensely need God’s wisdom to understand His books.
